Facts About Were-Snakes

• The were-snake gene is almost unheard of, and is even less contagious
than that of other were-animals.

• The were-snake gene is of unknown origin, though it has predated to the
dawn of time. There are stories that the snake who lured Eve into eating
the apple, was a were-snake who was the pet of Lucifer himself. However,
this is most untrue.

• The vampire, Mr. Oliver / The Earthmover, second oldest vampire and
member of the Council, calls all snakes and mythical serpent creatures,
and surrounds himself among their coils.

• There are only two types of were-snakes known to the world --
were-cobras, and were-anacondas.

• They don't live in large groups like other were-animals, but tend to be
individuals, or travel in small groups of 2-4. They tend to be matriarchal
among anacondas, but patriarchal among cobras.

• Were-snakes are the only were-animal to not return to human form
upon death, and can successfully carry pregnancies, because they can
give birth live or with eggs, whichever form they choose.

Appearance & Attributes

They have 3 forms: human, hybrid, and full serpent. In their hybrid form,
their head turns more serpentine in build, they keep their upper body, but
their lower body turns into a large and long serpent tail. Not feet or legs. In
their serpent form, they are a much larger size of their species -- an anaconda
may be 28-40 feet long, while a cobra may be 20-28 feet long.

Anacondas are known for their immense strength, even in human form, usually
stronger than other were-animals. Cobras have a toxic venom to their saliva that
will poison or paralyze their prey, and requires an antidote to reverse, or time to
let it wear off (if they are a were-animal or vampire). They may have different
appearances -- IE, an anaconda could be green, goldish, greyish, brown, or a
blend. A cobra is usually brown, goldish/sandy, or black.
