or who he is, but every supernatural to cross his path knows he’s no human.
Anyone can feel he’s ancient and powerful, but peg him this or that? No one has.
He comes and goes freely, disappearing for months on end. When he returns he
never mentions where he was. You learn not to ask.

He is calm and wise, always willing to help. He never asks too many questions or
involves himself any further than he sees fit. Though, if you’re looking, you will
notice he can usually be found near the scene of an important event, but he rarely
intervenes in situations, preferring to stay on the sidelines. He is deceptively cunning
and often knows more information than he lets on, he usually acts only as a Valkyrie,
taking the wounded from the battlefield, but the few who have seen him engage in
battle tell fantastical tales about it.

Maybe one day we’ll actually know something more about him… maybe.

college. After a freak car accident that put her in a coma for two days, she

When he and his sister, Vivian Carmichael, were young, they watched their father murder

were split up in the foster system. Finn reached high school and got into drugs, and eventually
when his father was released from prison, he was returned to his custody. His father “found
redemption” and was “sober”. The justice system failed the young Carmichaels, as his father
began molesting his teenage son, further driving him into drugs and illegal activities. He became
a vampire junkie at 18, when his father was incarcerated for good, and he began avoiding his
sister Vivian out of shame and annoyance that she wanted to help him. He was bitten one too
many times however, when he was 20, and rose as a vampire.

and never knew her parents. She was moved from family to family until she reached
the age of 11, when she was adopted by Carolina, an old woman who worked with
foster and adopted kids, "problem children". She grew up with adopted brothers, living
with Carolina until she was 17. After Carolina was murdered in her senior year of high
school, Gemma went and joined the military.

After joining the Navy, Gemma quickly rose through the ranks and became a member of
the Navy Seal special forces division. While on deployment, which had her stationed in
Greece at the time, she took a weekend leave with another Navy cadets and current boyfriend.
Spending the night in a hotel had Gemma come face to face with her boyfriend, Sean’s true
nature, a were-rat and during a particularly intimate evening of sex he lost control of his senses
and mauled Gemma who only just managed to escape with her life. Fleeing her room she ran face
first into a wall of muscle who she would later come to know as Aricles Epera, an Ancient Vampire
who originated in Greece 2000+ years before but was currently living in New York. There were no
words shared between the vampire and half naked and very injured woman as she collapsed in his
arms. Gemma later awoke in an extremely expensive bed with all her wounds tended too and her
well being looked after. It was there her second new encounter occurred with Jason Grey, the head
of Aricles security detail.

After explaining she had been sleeping for 3 days she was given fresh clothes before being driven
back to the Navy yard. From there she learned the gravity of her situation after being arrested and
dishonorably discharged for not only desertion from duty but also the charge of assault and rape to
the now ex-boyfriend. With no place to go she returned to where she awoke and to an offer, a new
life and a new prospect. Aricles presented the option of joining his security detail under the guide of
Jason Grey, the Rom of New York. But, there was one condition, the summary execution of the
were-rat that destroyed her life. It seemed the former Navy Seal was all too willing to carry out her
