[IMVU Logs] Sunspear Ccc67181ec3a76d2e447d116c3480355

03.12.2016

Characters: Dorian Martell, Quorah Martell, Luxia Martell, Oberyn II Martell and Moria Baratheon [NPC's]
Setting: Dorne | Sunspear

ShiftingSky : Dorian coughed lightly as the small cloud of dust rose up from beneath his light step, despite his best intentions. As light-footed as he was, he seemed to have reached a place in the castle that likely hadn't been traversed in several years. As such the layer of dust was so thick that even with his considerable talents he couldn't prevent himself from disturbing it as he passed. He knew the castle better than anyone alive he'd wager, and even he had never been to this particular place in the castles. It was deeper than most of the castle, and with much of Dorne built on sandy dunes, it was understandable that most people wouldn't go looking for cellars. Building cellars could be... costly at best, to say the very least of the difficulties involved. But this was more than a cellar, this was some kind of sub-cellar, beneath even the lowest parts of the castle. He'd found the entrance stashed behind one of the racks in the wine-cellar some years ago, but he'd never gotten around to examining it until now. As he gently gripped his chin in thought and tilted his head down, his platinum blond hair fell down about his eyes in a wave, and he had to pause to brush it away. His amethyst eyes flashed in the dim light as the excitement of finding this hidden gem coursed through his veins. No one would ever find him here, not even his dear sister. At the thought of that, he realized he had better leave quickly, or she'd come in search of him and likely discover his new treasure. He made his way back out into the cellar and moved out and down the halls, passing unseen as a shadow, even in the midst of day. He finally made it back to his quarters shortly before he would likely be summoned for midday meal.

Cali
: A series of unladylike words would emit from Quorah's thin lips as a drizzle of indigo dye would spray across her overlace, seeping down into the silky material that formed the base of her dress. Even though it was easily replaced, it still bothered Quorah that she had been so momentarily irresponsible as to ruin a perfectly fine dress. Setting down her horse hair bristle brush in the cup of indigo she'd been utilizing prior to her mishap, Quorah would gather up her thin amount of skirts and saunter over to her dressing area. With a snap of the wrist she'd swing open her *overly* decorated trunk of presumed "backups". Quorah selected the topmost fabric, unsheathing a simple dress, similar to the design of her current attire. Acutely aware that the midday meal was upon her, her movements were rushed-- but precise-- as she slipped into her new dress.

Biird: Her giggle filled the air around her, the hot dry air of deserts surrounding her home. The little Dornish girl darted down the aisles of the water gardens, the thin silk overlay of her near see-through gown with the leather under wraps, was knotted on her hip to keep from dancing around her ankles as she ran. She was chasing a little Fennec fox between each of the intricately carved pools and the tall baring orange trees. The little creature, peeked out from behind trunk of a potted fledging tree, meeped and took off further into the garden. Her little game almost seemed cruel, her laughter a bit sinister, but upon closer inspection of the activities it was a two way game. The little fox stopped periodically to make himself known when Lux lagged behind, distracted by the colorful flowers in the beds around the trees, or when she stopped to prance around a shallow pool. It made soft meeping noises to grab her attention and they were off again. As the fox broke the threshold of the garden and headed for the beach, Luxia took a dive. Her arm wrapped around the soft furry little creature and they went rolling. More laughter. Sand plumed around her until they settled at the bottom of the hill, the fennec on her chest, pawing, prancing and licking her face as she roared with laughter. When her breathing equalized, Lux rolled onto her side, dropping the little fox into the sand her hand lightly brushing his fur. It was the same color as the sand. His green eyes, wide and happy stared up at her, ears twitching happily. The midday sun beat down on them and as it came to the crest of its highest point in the sky the gentle buzz of life in Sunspear began to grown. “I have to go eat now.” Luxia explained to the soft pouting face of the fox when her hand withdrew and she stood. “Be careful out there! But I’m not worried your skills are improving.” Unknotting her silks, Lux let them drop around her smooth tanned legs and sprinted back toward the great castle after a final farewell pat to the little fluffy head.

ShiftingSky: As he made his way back into his own quarters, he heard a series of very inappropriate words come issuing forth from a nearby room. His head cocked to one side as he realized that it was Quorah's room he was hearing it from, and he let out a soft "tsk." despite himself. Their mother would be so ashamed if she heard such language. He altered his course slightly, so that he would pass by Quorah's room on the way to his own. She shouldn't be indulging in such behavior as a princess of Dorne after all, and without their mother there to scold her, he would take the task upon himself. As he came to her door, he opened it without pretense. He was the eldest brother after all, nothing was hidden from him. As such, he stepped in at a very untimely moment, just in time to see his sister Quorah fully nude and beginning to change into a new dress. His facial expression did not change, though his eyes gave her a slow once-over despite himself. Still his face remained cool, a mask of calm and poise. "Quorah. You know better than to speak in such a manner. Remember who you are before you think to utter such words again." He stated flatly, before closing the door and continuing on his way as if nothing had happened. The Dornish weren't exactly unused to nudity and scant clothing, but seeing one's own sister naked would still likely provoke more of a reaction from someone other than Dorian. As it was, he passed by a large window and peeked out, seeing Luxia heading towards the castle. He gave a nod, glad that she would be on time for midday meal today instead of being late like usual.

Cali : The only response Dorian would receive from the passive tempered Quorah would be a blatant eye roll. She pulled the under garment-- a thin silk slip-- over her bosoms before pulling down the rest of the frilly, thin layers. Since Quorah had an hourglass figure (Something she was quite thankful for), she had all of her dresses tailored to hug all the right places, just for the show of it. She was a modest gal on numerous occasions, but no one ever limited her from being a bit sketchy from time-to-time. After a quick glance in the mirror and a few touch ups to her elaborately braided hair, she beat her mistress to the door, helping herself out of her private quarters-- a rarity for Quorah, considering she only left for meals and events forced upon her, as far as everyone thought-- and making her merry way down the long, overly lit hallway. The panels she past on her way to the dining area filled the elongated hall with an abundance of natural light, something Quorah had come to enjoy in recent months. She paid no mind to the tapestries she passed as well, the sunlight splashing across the embroidered tales of Dorne's past. Eventually, her feet would lead her to where servants were finishing up their daily routine of piling a long, mahogany table with food.

Biird: As she neared her home, Luxia spotted the brilliant mop of blond hair that stood stark against sun kissed skin that was her brother. She knew his pretentious ram rod backed walk that took him through the halls and she knew the line of his shoulders even from a distance. A smile cracked her already pleasant features as she sprung through a window, tucking and rolling as she came crashing down on the polished floors. Luxia uncurled like a butterfly from a cocoon at the feet of a startled servant girl, who stared down at her with big brown eyes. The princess of Dorne responded with grand grin before scuttling across the floor on fours like komodo dragon toward the dining hall. Her tongue licked across her features and she hissed at the feet of the servants that were hustling through the halls. Most of them chuckled, others, who could not reconcile her behavior, either shook their heads or avoided her completely. Slinking into a chair around the long dining table, Lux immediate stuck her full hand into a bowl of something mushy that was closest to her, yanked it free so that the gunk – most likely a jelly of some sort, flung across the table an licked her fingers. “Where’s my brother!” She demanded with a laugh as her messy hand came down on the table. “I saw him coming this way.” Far down on the end of the table her parents sat; father sipping wine and unphased by her demeanor, mother curled around his free arm, face buried in his shoulder as she whispered to him. Her head turned slowly, long waves of ink set hair barely contained by a circlet of gold, moved like black water over her shoulder and down her back. Her eyes, deep orbs of purple, fell on Luxia. “Must you be such a savage? It’s as if you were not born to riches and splendor. Clean your hand Luxia and eat like a lady today.” Without waiting for response her gaze jumped to that of her youngest child and a smile softened her disgruntled features. “My Quorah. How are you dear?”

ShiftingSky: "Calm down sister." Dorian said smoothly as he strode into the room, his bright gold and blue attire catching the light and therefore the attention of very nearly everyone in the room save his father, who seemed to be mostly unaffected by his presence. "Lux, you know better, that's a horrible waste of food. If you insist on eating like a savage at least make sure that you don't waste like one, it's unbecoming of you." He shook his head and took his usual seat beside Lux. It seemed often his presence was the only thing that could reign in her wild behavior somewhat. He took up his knife and fork and began to eat delicately, his eyes remaining almost entirely on his food, only occaisionally rising to give a glance at each of his sisters.

Cali : The princess's eyes flew open with surprise as Luxia went about her usual, untamely manner. She soon recovered however, her nerves settling back into place as she took a seat next to her sister. Quorah was immune to the wildflower spirit of her elder sibling. Though they were mere minutes apart in age, they took on complete diverse personalities and behaviors; Luxia being that of a youngling whom refused to let go of her childhood and Quorah trying so desperately to be seen as many years beyond her actual age. She defined her worth base don her accomplishments in the fine arts and her level of scholar. It was Quorah's way of revoking the image set for the 'youngest' child in a family. Her mother's velvet voice relapsed her from her personal thoughts, however, and it took her brain a few moments to decipher and catch up to the conversation. "Hmm? Oh.. I am fine mother.. Sorry if I seem a bit fatigued.. I am close to finishing my fifth painting for this week." Quorah replied in a rather dull tone, nothing unusual. Her piercing eyes returned to an empty-- HER empty plate-- one she had no interest in filling. "If you may excuse me.. I am just not hungry." And with that, Quorah elegantly stood from her cushioned chair, following the path in which she just came without another word.

Biird: Immediately following the words of their mother, Luxia began to lick her hand. When it was almost clean she launched her hand into a jug of water and preened to see her brother enter the dining hall. His name formed on her lips but she didn’t speak, only a noise of contentment roused from her when he sat down. She hated his demeanor in the presence of others and couldn’t understand his seemingly need to be this way, but it didn’t matter, he was her favorite. Cooing, Luxia wiggled down in her chair and pulled her hand free of the jug flicking water at Quorah as she rose. “You’re so boring. What is so interesting in your room? It looks the same as mine. A cage. Why do you like cages?” Aware that her questions would likely go unanswered by her younger sister who seemed to have no time for anyone, Lux’s attention swung onto Dorian regarding him for moment before she looked down the table at their parents. Someone was missing, but she couldn’t finger who. It was someone important though. “Is Isabel masturbating her way through our midday meal again?” “LUXIA.” Their mother roared down the table, their father absently patting her hand as it rested on his arm. He was stifling a chuckle.
